Again, I appear to have lagged on my DA.  Sorry.

What's been new since my last journal entry..?

Well, I've been horribly sick, then had to have my heart looked at and am now under a Cardiology clinic for having SVTs, as well as the fact I'm waiting for a date for my operation for something unrelated but equally as illness-inducing.
I've been to two conventions last month - LSCC and Kitacon - the latter included food poisoning (for many con-goers - thanks Hilton Hotels!) and then an incident my consuming a spiked drink, which had paramedics running to our hotel room at 2:30am and then me being out of it for the rest of the convention (thank you to whoever that asshat was ><)
However, Tenkaii , invisible-deity and I did get to interview Ellen McLain and John Patrick Lowrie!  And by the end of the weekend, we became friends ^_^

Also on a more positive note, it's my birthday in just under a week's time and Tenkaii and I are off out of town to a nice little lodge for a few days to hopefully de-stress and whatnot.
I'm tempted to bring a cosplay for a photoshoot but I'm not sure what to bring yet! XD;

Convention, wise, May Expo and LFCC are approaching - though I'm not sure if I'll be going to the former yet.  Definitely going to the latter - and will be taking photos for our website too ^^

The website in question is the one that Tenkaii , invisible-deity and myself launched (based on everything anime, manga, cosplay, sci-fi, and just generally geeky) is doing pretty well.  We are still hoping to get ourselves more exposure though.

I've been offered a probationary cosplay photographer slot for an anime website.  So I'm definitely going to be trying to brush up on photographing and editing cosplays ^_^

I'm totally up for doing shoots with loads of people (new and old!) &nbsp;So feel free to note me if you're interested!

I'm also looking for any MCR fans that might be interested in helping me with my MCR project - you'll have to be based in the UK and able to meet up for photos and filming in or near London - so please message me if you're interested :3

So... what's new?

On my end, things have been a bit busy - my health has been yo-yoing... and I'm currently equipped with a 7day ECG monitor to check my heart for arrythmias... although at the convention over the weekend, I was dubbing the device my Arc Reactor due to the mai part of it sitting right in the middle of my chest...

The convention itself was London Super Comic Con.  It was pretty laid back - and was also the first time I have actually been to a convention and not bought anything!!
As always, it was great catching up with friends and making new ones
Plus that was my first event of the year - so starting the con season as I mean to go on! <3

How is everyone?  I hope you're all doing good and all set for Christmas.
I know I'm not - still waiting for presents to arrive in the post that I ordered ages ago.  orz...

Anyhow, going to keep this short and sweet.

Well, Tenkaii , invisible-deity , Nymphadorable are launching a website based on everything anime, manga, cosplay, sci-fi, and just generally geeky.

Our Facebook page has been live for over a month now, and we are continuing to update things on there whilst we finish up on the website.

We are currently having a bit of seasonal, festive fun with everybody (and that includes you) - and would like people to put on their best cosplays, take a festive photo and e-mail it to us.

It was great to catch up with everyone again - and meet new people too.
Just a shame that because of my health, I couldn't be out as much as I wanted to

I don't think I have any more conventions for 2013 - and my next convention is LSCC next March - which is a whole 2 weeks before Kitacon
I really hope I'll be doing a lot better, health-wise, by then.

Again, sorry I haven't updated since coming back from the Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD pre-launch.

Lots of things have been going on.

Mainly to do with my health.  So if I'm not around as much - or if I'm not as social - or just don't seem myself - please don't take it personally.  I have a lot of health issues going on at the moment and might have to go for surgery (potentially, I may have to have two operations) - so there's a few things on my mind right now.

Onto other things - London MCM Expo (sorry, I'll NEVER call it Comic Con because it's just NOT! XD) is this weekend.
Tenkaii and I will be about from Friday to Monday and we'll be taking lots of cosplay and event photos for Anime Picks - so please don't be afraid to approach us!
I'll be in my secret Disney cosplay on Friday, Mikasa Akerman from Shingeki no Kyojin / Attack on Titan on Saturday, and either Barrioth Armour from Monster Hunter or Rei Ayanami's plugsuit from Evangelion on the Sunday (weather pending).
Also, as usual I'm terrible with names and faces so please, if I look at you blankly, remind me who you are XD  I apologise in advanced for this!

And yes - just in case some of you were wondering - yes that Rei plugsuit was one of the cosplays that Tenkaii and I have finally received after waiting TWO AND A HALF YEARS for (after paying the commissioner in full).  Now that has finally been sorted out, I can reveal this commissioner to be Barbara Staples of the Limebarb and Lemonbrat companies.
We have had a nightmare of a time trying to get our cosplays from her, despite paying her in full, and have been given nothing but lies and false deadlines via e-mail (and yes, if she or any of her friends read this, I have kept EVERY SINGLE E-MAIL OF CORRESPONDANCE BETWEEN US AS EVIDENCE).  We have had to threaten her with legal action in order to finally get our stuff, and even then, we were still subjected to false deadlines and she even went as far as to blame the courrier company for misplacing the parcel (before stupidly sending us progress photos that were date and time stamped almost a month after she had allegedly sent the parcel).
She also offered us two hoodies from her sister site Lemonbrat as compensation for the wait. One of my friends who makes cosplays looked at them when she was visiting and she said they were very poorly made (no hemming, etc) - and when I told her how much they were worth on he website, she was shocked and appauled at how much people were getting ripped off. So I'm glad we got them for free (minus a customs charge)
I would strongly reccommend to any of my friends and fellow cosplayers NOT TO GIVE THIS WOMAN BUSINESS OF ANY KIND!!!
